      Interesting product, average market salary Stocks if you can handle working there for 4 years

      Cons

      - Unhealthy and toxic working environment - Engineering culture and leadership are unprofessional. It is a mix of dictatorship and micromanagement. - Constant micromanagement and zero trust - Engineering managers got their positions not because they have the skills or competency but "just because". Companies' explanation is that "we're a startup and we don't have time for taking a management course for you“. - Developers who see coding as a craft and naturally care about the quality of their work will not fit into Softr. The engineering team consistently prioritizes deadlines and quantity over code quality and scalability. - Employee turnover is insane. The company has an easy hire easy-fire attitude. - In the offer, you get false promises about the benefits like remote-friendly and flexible working hours. Then you are forced to provide a detailed explanation of why you're working remotely and asked to work from the office instead. Well, "the terms have changed" they say!

      Management always right, employees always wrong

      Pros

      An interesting project. Stock options if the company doesn't lie you and gives them to you.

      Cons

      The employee is of no value to the company. It doesn't matter how long he worked there, what path he took with the company and what he did for it. They can fire employees with ease, on a random day they will say that you are fired and you can not come from tomorrow. And they will suggest that you write that you leave of your own free will (because it reflects badly on the employee's career when fired). False promises, and not professional management.

      Working at Softr has been a nightmare

      Nothing to say, it's no pros in this company.

      Cons

      Working at Softr has been a nightmare. The toxic environment and bad management have made it impossible to focus on work. The atmosphere is so negative that it's hard to stay motivated. Everyone seems to be in a constant state of stress and fear of the management. The pay is not even close to what is deserved and there is no room for growth. It is a complete waste of time and energy. Avoid this place at all costs.
