Pros

Remote work Fair compensation Good benefits (if you are an employee and not a contractor)

Cons

SureSwift will do everything in their power to keep you at contractor status so that they do not have to offer you benefits. This company is also built on nepotism - almost everyone in a leadership or management role is best friends with someone else. This is also an incredibly sexist company with a "bro" culture. If you are not a cis/het white man, you likely will not succeed here. Others' shortcomings and failures are excused or blame is pushed to someone else. It is a toxic work environment, even though it is remote.

Pros

The entire company 'quite quit' over a year ago you can literally get away with doing bare minimum.

Cons

First CEO let his ego drive the company to to the ground. New CEO can barely public speak and verbally told us he took the position but didn't need to. He's more concerned about the farm he purchased and taking trips to Africa for whatever reason. COO put's revenue first instead of people. Many bad decisions were made to meet company attrition goals before the end of the year, without fully understanding the company interworking's, and most importantly people potential, strengths. However, none of that matters because the top of the organization are buddy's. There's 0 culture, and will always have 0 culture. No Diversity either, the C-suite is just a bunch of rich white guys from BC. Much of the organization was and still is polluted with imposter syndrome developed by this company. I got absolutely nothing out of SSC besides wasted time, and a career set back. Their state of the company meetings were a circus. Just lie's told right to our face in order to keep body's their until they can make their next move. They'll tell you everything is great to boost moral, but all knew it was not. There was never an actionable plan forward from the COO, just brash decision making. His leadership is being questioned among many.

As the new CEO, I thought I would personally respond to this. Upon joining SureSwift Capital in August 2022, it was apparent to me that while we had many exceptional team members and businesses, there were some organizational issues to address. With a new COO and CFO in late 2022, we moved quickly to fix and flatten our organizational structure, and I apologize if you were caught on the wrong side of this. We have a very capable and diverse team, and have strong alignment as we continue to double down on our mission of being: Exceptional Operators of Excellent SaaS Businesses. Our new COO is very capable and experienced, and I have no question of his ability to help deliver on our new mission and align our high performing team. We acknowledge and are addressing our leadership diversity, having recently added a new Director of Marketing and a new Director of People Ops, two new leadership team members I am very excited about, and now with a completely new and experienced leadership team, and with recent organizational changes, the future of SureSwift Capital is very bright. We are already seeing much positive fruit of our recent changes.
