Pros
Compensation, quick callback to interview
Cons
Account Executive (Prospect) 3rd Interview--This is a start-up and does not seem to have a lot of structure in place for managing a company. Ambulatory / Surgical Services Project (Medical Log Management) - They provide cloud-based application to automate the logging and medication disbursement in healthcare facilities. That said--I have interviewed with Surglogs 3 times now and should have looked at the reviews first. The Recruiter/HR person Natalie is very nice and gives a misrepresentation of the company but once you speak with Leadership i.e. P. Zajac and B. Coombs a different perspective is painted. Long ago, interviewers would ask "tell me about your weaknesses, your strengths etc." this is not that time anymore and showcasing your weaknesses to a company as a part of selling your self is a thing of the past. There was also an uncomfortable amount of awkward pauses as though this was not well put together. Come to find out, I was supposed to be provided a fact sheet/script prior to interviewing. As an applicant, it's off-putting to see leadership staff looking at each other expecting the other to pick up the conversation, especially on a Zoom video call. It comes off as not structured and inexperienced, at no point of an interview should you be left wondering "...Am I expected to steer this interview"? During the less than 30 minute interview, not once was I told more about the job or responsibilities, work/life balance, career opportunities, culture, compensation, values, sales metric expectations --nothing that would allow an applicant to determine if they are interested in continuing to speak with you and move through the application process.
