1. Very VERY cliquey 2. HR is all lip service 3. Abusive managers literally screaming because they cannot handle their own stress 4. Blind followers are promoted 5. Gaslighting at all levels 6. Incompetent people running important aspects of research not to mention foregoing proper oversight in key areas such as process development 7. Executive team is all about tooting their own horn 8. Scientists without any management skills are promoted to managers who are only about their own image at the expense of the direct reports
