Pros

This place is a pyramid scheme. It is door to door sales. They will lie and trick you. You can't find out anything about the company. If you get into an interview (spoiler alert: there will be 3) just ask them what your actual day to day responsibilities will be...they will spew some buzzwords at you and tell you how they are all friends! That's great for them but you don't get paid unless u trick "clients" (people who are home when you knock) into buying products that they don't agree to buying. You can then "grow" your career by tricking others into doing the door to door sales. You then capitalize on their grunt work.

Cons

Nobody has shut them down yet

Pros

Great atmosphere in the office and good Co-workers. They do a great job of finding awesome employees that they unfortunately brainwash into thinking they will find success here.

Cons

If you want to spend 60-70 hours a week trying to "build" your career with no real guarantee of advancement, this is your place. If you don't want to have any sort of work-life balance and want work to become the only focus of your life, this is your place.

I'm glad you enjoyed the office and co-workers. The people that run the company have all started in an entry level role, like the role we are hiring for. They have become successful, along with the many examples of people who also began in that same role within the company and were trained to transition into a management role, representing one of our clients. There are too many examples of success to negate that people cannot be successful. You must not have spent limited time working with us to think that. Our advancement structure is based on merit, so it may actually be among the few places where you have complete control over your advancement. I'm not sure what your experience is, but most other companies do not allow you to dictate whether you get promoted or not, the company just decides (unlike ours). There are also plenty of examples of people with families excelling in our company. Family is a value of ours. Why would we not inspire young professionals to try to be something? It's a shame that you don't feel that everybody should aspire to be something. The most amazing part of our business is the ability to develop individuals to reach their full potential and "aspire" to be great at whatever they choose. We believe in the people we hire. Some of those people may take the skills we teach them and move on to do something great somewhere else and some will grow in their career paths with us. We strive for a win-win no matter what. We wish you luck in the future.

Pros

You'll be able to tell people that you're employeed If you want to start a relationship with a coworker/"manager" and have absolutely no other friends or life outside of work this is for you

Cons

I don't usually write reviews but I felt obligated so more people know what they are signing up for. This is a scam company. Much like those insurance sales jobs, "You'll be selling to a warm market!! Uncapped commission potential!! We're all friends here!!" Search Primeamerica and you'll know what I'm talking about. It used be be BluMarc in NJ until the whole company got up and moved and changed the name...why would you change the name of the company ? "Representing different clients " is the obvious answer, but BluMarc was wiped off the map, think about it. "Marketing" and sales is all about building a strong brand no? Same exact people, same exact website layout colors and design, so why start a whole new brand from scratch. BluMarc is all but erased off the face of the earth except when you look them up on Glassdoor (I suggest you do). Advice to you: if it's a "group information session" it's a scam They try to recruit desperate young people right out of college who don't know enough to identify this is a pyramid scheme. The tip off is the cult like hooting and hollering , lets stand in a circle and clap and chant. Like really? If everyone in the "company" is younger than 40 this is a tip off. There are acutal outside sales jobs that are B2 to B2 to look into that sell a tangible product that pay an actual tangible base salary ($45,000+). No one with a bachelor's degree from a 4 year reputable university should have to settle for this "100% commission, promotion in 6 months" fraud position. There are other options for you and I suggest you look for them. The 5 star reviews are always added after a particulary bad review is written so beware.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm not sure what gives you the impression that we are a scam. Insurance companies are also not scams. Maybe the compensation structure of an insurance company or even our company is not a good fit for you, but your lack of appreciation for the compensation structure of entire industries, does not make any of them scams. I'm also not sure what searching "Primerica" would have anything to do with our company, considering they are also an entirely different business model. Again, although you may not appreciate the business model of a certain company, does not make it a scam. It also doesn't make it the same as another. We are NOT an MLM business model, not that there is anything wrong with that business model either. I'm sure you all know many people that enjoy making extra money participating in an MLM company and post about it on facebook. Good for them. Thank you for your recognition of BluMarc, which was a separate company in NJ, in which we did work with different clients. We are very proud of the company we created in NJ. In fact, we were recognized as a Top Company To Work For in NJ by NJBIZ, multiple years in a year. It is a testament to our success there, that we were not only able to expand to Chicago with many of our employees (who clearly enjoyed working with us enough to move) and create a new company in Chicago (representing an amazing client with an even bigger job of expansion to fill), but we were also able to promote someone from within our organization, through our management training program, to take over that market and operate for our clients there. They operate under their own business in the NJ market and are thriving as we expected. We as a company represent very large clients that have their own "tangible" products and services. We are not internally building a brand for a particular product we are selling. It is not our business to build our brand. It is our business to focus on our client's brand, market share, and products and we do a great job at it. Our name is irrelevant as a service provider to our clients. We also continue to grow with our clients via word or mouth and have more than we can handle with their current demands. This is an amazing problem to have. It is not one that necessitates that we advertise or keep a company name in a particular market if we expand. I understand that you may not understand this, as much as you didn't understand why making a connection between our company and an insurance company or an MLM didn't make sense. We are also not a franchise, nor do we have a "parent company," so we didn't open a new State Farm branch for example. We simply expanded and started an entirely new company to fill a client's demand, while in the process of providing opportunity. (that negates that future point you mention of our opportunity for advancement being a fraud). All people that actually work within our company for any length of time more than a week know and meet multiple people who started working in an entry level position with us, just like the one we are hiring for now, and have since moved on to oversee a market for one of our clients. We don't do "group information sessions" here. I'm totally confused as to what you are referring to. Daily meetings among our team? I'm pretty sure most companies do that?! Yes we do give daily recognition, where we do applaud a job well done, lol. We like it and if you don't want daily recognition....this is definitely not for you. Again, to give you knowledge about business... You are throwing out terms that you must not have actually looked up. Pyramid Schemes are an illegal business model. Just because you may not have felt that our business model was a match for you, does not give your statement any validity. I'm pretty sure our clients have done their own research on the credibility of the companies they have represent them, with the deep pockets they have for legal and branding. Almost all of our employees have four year degrees or higher. Some of them have also come from Ivy League schools and were in medical school prior. We teach tangible skills that school only teaches theoretically. An intelligent individual recognizes the value in obtaining skills like sales, management, hr, training, developing, etc. and how that will help them in their career anywhere. Also, although we do not discriminate based on age, it probably makes sense we attract individuals who are around the average age of people beginning their career. (most people start their career in entry level position after college, unless they are making a career change). Unlike other companies, we internally promote. We do not hire outside managers. Even those individuals who may be older and are making that career change also see the value in the training and promotion based on merit model.
