Pros

TalentCare is an excellent company to work for. They are adaptive to their clients' needs and always looking for ways to add service offerings, improve systems and help team members be successful. Management tries to ensure everyone is in the right role and using their strengths, and they recognize high performers and give them opportunities to advance. It's a very autonomous environment where everyone takes ownership of their projects and tasks, and management doesn't micromanage the team. It's also a very down-to-earth culture where employees are free to express ideas and challenges, and management genuinely listens and implements changes based on that kind of feedback.

Cons

It is a very fast-paced environment often with competing priorities. Some people will thrive on that, and others will not.

The decision to restructure our organization was difficult and challenging, most of all for the employees who were affected, which is why we provided a severance for every affected employee. Any statement otherwise is simply false. While many of the statements in your review are inaccurate, one part was true. We were disorganized. As we grew, teams became siloed. Communication suffered, processes were unclear, and the overall experience of our team was not what we wanted it to be. The goal of restructuring was to improve that. And, while difficult, the changes are already providing opportunities for better collaboration and communication. Feedback from the team is that the changes have led to a positive difference, which will become even more impactful over the coming months. We thank you for your contributions while you were here, and wish you well in your future endeavors.

Pros

It is remote and there are some really great people that work there.

Cons

As previously mentioned all the reviews are true this is not a good company with a solid foundation. ELT does not know what they are doing. Restructuring happens every other month. They do not know how to run a company, how to appropriately service clients or how to tell the truth. The CEO meets with other CEO’s and promises things that cannot be delivered or not possible and then expects the service team to figure it out. There is no structure in the company or the solutions offered. The ELT has little to no experience in Talent Acquisition prior to Talentcare and they do what is best for the ELT, not the customer! The recent layoffs came after the CEO lied about the state of the company on an all hands call which was only one of many lies told. The most unbelievable of all is that they required existing team members to sign a “No contact” order prohibiting them to speak with former employees that were affected by the layoff. Absolutely ridiculous.

Thank you for the feedback. We try to learn from our employees' experiences, but we also have to balance what we know to be true into the equation. Our ELT is comprised of a Co-founder with decades of experience in talent acquisition, along with two others who came directly from the recruiting industry with direct practitioner-side CHRO experience and a background in employer branding and recruitment marketing. Altogether, their experience comprises about 50 years of expertise in the talent acquisition industry. Our other ELT team members come from outsourcing and business services backgrounds, and this diversity of expertise is what has allowed us to shape our business in a way that meets the needs of our clients differently than other companies in our industry. While we did recently restructure our organization, the changes were designed to do exactly what you point out in your review - to achieve better organizational focus and serve our clients as best as possible. No current team members were asked to sign a "no contact" order, nor were they ever asked verbally not to speak with former employees. There have been no other significant changes to our organizational structure prior to that for years, other than promoting internal team members into new leadership positions. We understand that these changes were difficult for those affected, and we wish you well in your future.
