Great Place to Learn

Pros

- Fratelli is a great place to learn for communications professionals at all levels, especially at the junior level. Junior staff is deeply immersed in the day-to-day work of the firm, and one year at Fratelli is the equivalent of three years worth of experience at agencies that are larger in size. - Fratelli has a diverse client base that ranges from work on behalf of the strongest U.S. allies around the world to the U.S. business and non-profit communities. - The skill set and background of the Fratelli team is just as diverse as the client base.

Cons

The Fratelli team maintains high expectations for all staff so we can deliver the best work products and services to our clients.

Pros

This is the best place I have ever worked. The people are amazing, and every day brings a new and interesting challenge. The team here has helped me grow professionally, presenting me with new and exciting challenges that have built my skills. I am always encouraged to explore new areas of professional growth. I can't say enough great things about working at The Fratelli Group.

Cons

The hours can be long, and sometimes I have to jump into a project that I don't know much about and just figure it out. Those situations can be anxiety inducing, but I have found that those experiences are the most rewarding, and the ones from which I learn the most.

Pros

You gain immense experience in a wide-array of policy issues and with interesting clients (non-profits, associations, foreign companies, etc.) working here. Sky high expectations really mold you into a better communications professional.

Cons

Too small to have any work / life balance - no matter your title, you are constantly on call or responsible for something. Major gaps between junior staff and senior executive staff regarding communication, respect and responsibility. The firm does a poor job including junior staff. Absolutely no HR system - taking time off feels like an inconvenience to the office; unclear management guidelines. Stressful office environment.
