Management isn’t the best

Pros

Coworkers are nice and willing to answer questions. Pay is adequate. Head cashiers were kind and helpful.

Cons

Once you are assigned to a designated check out, you don’t leave it for the entire day unless they send someone to switch you out for breaks. Supervisor will fail you for the slightest error on check out procedure’s. Some supervisors and management seem to have heavy inflated egos. Encourage you to ask questions but then treat you like you’re annoying for asking questions.

Pros

VTO (Voluntary Time-Off) on slow days 4 Hours of PTO per month (48 accrued hours a year) + Vacation Pay depending on your tenure Optional Overtime in peak times No excessive meetings Easy access to leadership (management and HR) Profit sharing twice a year

Cons

Very strict metrics Almost everyone required to work a weekend day Limited opportunity for career growth Inconsistent job expectations A lot of work for little pay
