      Not worth the pay

      Pros

      none, just a bunch of white people taking advantage of the rich in NYC.

      Cons

      found out the company was making $215 per MY tutoring session, and i was only making $27. i was the one going to the house and doing the work, all they did was connect me. i should have already been making 50%, as that is the usual for other tutoring companies i have worked with. also, they would constantly harass me with texts and emails if i didn’t respond within an hour. super inconsiderate of my time. again, not worth it for the amazingly low pay.

      An okay company to start out with but not great for long-term employment

      Pros

      They hired me (a college student at the time) with minimal experience, trained me, and provided materials.

      Cons

      They were rather disorganized in terms of communication, the materials had spelling and grammatical errors, and they didn't pay for transportation costs if it took less than thirty minutes to reach the student—so even if I spent $5.50 roundtrip to reach someone 25 minutes away, they wouldn't reimburse me.
