Pros
None whatsoever. Can't think of a worse company to have experienced
Cons
The job I applied for wasn't the job I ended up doing. When applying, the description mentioned working in events, managing a team and budget management. So you can imagine my shock when I showed up for my induction to basically be told I was going to be a self-employed door-to-door salesman. There is no clear base salary, everything is commission based and you have to pay for your own expenses. The interview process is messy and the communication is awful. After getting offered the role, I didn't hear anything from them until I chased them up on the week I started. This was a red flag as they hadn't sent a contract or anything, but I was more worried that they hadn't given me a start date (considering they asked if I could leave my previous job early to start at TouchPoint). I had sent them numerous emails, rang different phone numbers and left voicemails - only to be told that they didn't receive anything because they had problems with their emails (didn't explain why they couldn't return my calls though). Considering they wanted me to finish my previous job early, I didn't actually have my induction for another three weeks, meaning that I had no income during that time. Everything you see about this company on its website or LinkedIn is false and hugely inaccurate. They promote it as this fun, young working environment when actually all you are is a door-to-door salesman who has to travel all over Manchester (and sometimes out of it). Within a day of working there, I was already applying for new jobs and I would've left a review sooner, but their Glassdoor page was impossible to find (they changed their company name which is another red flag). So for anyone who has managed to find it and this review and is thinking of applying, don't!
