Tytan is an amazing place to work. The atmosphere is fun, and the location is great. Can't complain about being 3/4 a mile from the beach. The work can be tough at times, but it is always rewarding. Must being doing something right to see all the awards around here, including 5 Emmys in the past 2 years. If you are looking for a job, stop by or give us a call.
Cons
no cons, but a reply to "assistant editor". I have been with the company for 2 years, in those 2 years I have only had to fire 1 person. That person worked with us for a couple weeks, but 2 days, so I'm guessing "assistant editor" was before my time. Anyway, that person I had to fire was trying to be an editor, but unfortunately was not at the skill level that we needed. Though we did try to work with him, his work ethic and ability to learn was falling very short. We also do not appreciate the consumption of alchohol before work and during work hours without consent. Finally, threatening the owner with physical violence is not something we tolerate here at Tytan. When we come close to calling 911 out of concern for the safety of others, that is not what we want here.
