Pros

50% off products (which does not apply to everyone) and on-site parking

Cons

All those common negative reviews of this company? Listen to them because they are all true with no exaggeration! The work culture is so old-fashioned it's shocking! Want to travel back in time? Work for Vitabiotics are you'll be back in the 50s! Leadership? Not even management, it's pretty much dictatorship where micromanagement is at its perfection. Work-life balance is a laughable concept here as well as regard for your mental health or physical health even when your medical needs are clearly communicated, not to mention witnessed. They can't wrap their brain around working from home which means they are extremely strict about it leaving absolutely no room for common sense. Want to have a Big Brother experience? Well, you'll find the perfect opportunity at Vitabiotics where there will be constant surveillance to the point that the way you sit at your desk is more important than the work you do. Leaving your desk for more than 10 minutes at a time (which is very much needed for your health in a desk job) gets you in so much trouble. The hypocrisy and double standards from leadership as well as HR is unreal, fostering an environment where bullying thrives! There is no such thing as rules apply to everyone, the rules are made to apply to certain people and change according to the manager's mood and poor judgment not to mention 0 common sense (I've got some pretty shocking stories). Tej loves to preach about mental health on social platforms yet he has no issue overlooking the toxic culture within his own company, what a sick joke! There is no appreciation for the work you do, no importance placed on the quality of your work. What they value is the appearance of working like a robot, always sitting at your desk with minimal interaction between colleagues unless it's work-related, and being dressed in a certain way (very corporate and conservative). It doesn't surprise me that this company is so behind with the times when the majority of their employees are over a certain age, younger people are a very small minority which says a lot, no one that has an even slightly more modern mindset will stay there, that is if they will even accept to work there in the first place. Also, if you are not like-minded with them, you won't last very long as they will fire you for the most ridiculous reasons regardless of how good you are at your job, as I said, that is not something they value very much. Basically, you either take the bullying and the toxicity or you're out!

Pros

Great low level staffs

Cons

- Do not work here the positive reviews on Glassdoor may be been placed by the directors. - During fisrt two years staff are hired and fired. - No understanding of employment law. - Micro managed by directors and no one is able to have any impact. - Mean directors and they only think about themselves and money. - Directors are rude and love bullying. They shout at staff. - You will not have the opportunity to grow here. - The office is in very bad location which is difficult to get to, very limited choice of food and very depressing, especially in the evening and winter. - No tube stations are nearby.
