Always issues with getting paid for commissions on sales. No base pay and expected to work long hours to hit unreasonable targets. MLM company where your leader makes percentage off of your commissions and their leader makes a percentage and so on etc.

I remember I used to work for them when they were based in Toronto. I remember people were very vain and cruel with lack of consideration for others. I had to commute two hours with transit and being 1 min late because transits are not alwyas accurate nor reliable, people were being sent home including people who travel two hours away. People were extremely toxic, catty, and care too much about appearance (suits and dresses) over being actually supportive to one another. Assistant manager once also didn’t credit my sale and after telling them I’ll take it to labour board they did transfer the money without any apology given. I had PRK vision correction surgery and had to come to work, but unlike Lasik with fast recovery, PRK required a long time to recover. I did explain my situation to my manager and wore sunglasses at the meeting, just to be told I cannot wear them because it looks rude. So they made me I take off sunglasses exposing sensitivity to my eyes. The manager said how her mother did the same surgery and it’s not necessary but what her mother did was a different surgery that required less down time. Truly ignorant people and lacking in basic considerate treatment for their workers. I did so great on my next sales job after this job because at least people were decent and humane. Unbelievable of me for staying that long at the time in this unbelievable company.
