Pros

Spend most of my time walking around a Home Depot, trying to convince people to listen to me. They will send you all over the country to do this, but only because other markets were feeling to meet their requirements by Home Depot.

Cons

Talk to strangers all day but they have seen 100+ people just like you. When you do actually find people that will listen, most of them don't even know what they have signed themselves up for.

Pros

Office is easy to get to.

Cons

Lies during interviews Misleading employment process Uses term "marketing" very loosely Lead generators not marketing team Cult vibes Obnoxious project managers Project managers talk poorly about each other and Ceo to team memberss Team morning meetings are not best use of time. No different than door to door sales

Thank you for your observations. We're proud of our family-esque culture. It provides a good support system and team environment, but a con can be that employees feel comfortable enough to discuss both good and bad parts of their day with each other. We do have a very excited and motivated team, which it sounds like you found obnoxious. Votion is NOT a pyramid scheme - and our multi-billion dollar clients would not partner with someone running illegal operations. Nondisclosure agreements aside, Votion strives to be as transparent and forthcoming to all applicants and employees as possible. Votion conducts business-to-consumer direct marketing, which is distinctly different from door-to-door sales. Marketing is an umbrella term in general. If you were confused about the specifics at any point during your interview process or employment, our Manager's door is always open for one-on-one's. We're glad to hear you didn't have any issues finding our office. If you have any other feedback, feel free to reach out to our HR Team at hr@votionpdx.com.

Pros

high-energy sales meetings in mornings, room for commission

Cons

This is your typical multilevel marketing set up - make sales, teach others how to make sales on your "team", get your very own business someday...I don't love that this position was sugar coated to be something it's not. It's a cleaned up pyramid scheme, don't get your hopes up.
