Pros

Not one I can think of.

Cons

I have years of work experience and this is the worst place I had the misfortune to work at. Micro Management and badly managed. Blame culture is awful and lack of trust. You won't learn anything except bad techniques. Some good people work there but due to HR and Senior Management being controlled by directors which I can only speak for one director the whole company is toxic including the atmosphere. Staff turnover is crazy high. Never seen such poor facilities from a company that is making huge sums of money. By the way the review from the CTO was written within weeks of him working there so how he can write a review is a blatant lie. Staff are asked to write good reviews and lie. Staff work there in the hope things will change due to the richemont takeover. It got worse. They don't care about most staff. They are only interested in making money. All other places I've worked at I enjoyed. I also had a good relationship with my manager at Watchfinder.

Pros

Being able to handle a multitude of brands.

Cons

Watchfinder is now owned by Richemont but still run like a market stall! So you'd think by the TV adverts and online presence Watchfinder would be a great place to work.... Wrong, The company is forever under staffed, in store your lucky to receive any training whatsoever. Absolutely 0 respect for staff, little to no security training. You are expected to give your heart and soul to the job, in return you will receive very little! Unrealistic targets and no compromises in relation to this no matter how hard you or your team work. Higher management is non existant, you'll hear from them on the odd occasion via email. Back stabbing and blame culture. If your face doesn't fit then you'll be left to your own devices with NO support. The company gives no product training, the staff are glorified retail workers working well over 43 hours per week with no sick pay or perks. No fixed staff discount, watches available at discount dependant on how well you 'Fit in' Long hours on your feet, constant maintenance issues in store that go ignored and un dealt with.

Pros

It's sad to say but there aren't any positive things about the company.

Cons

One of the worst cultures I have ever seen. Just to give you an insight, people don't say hello to each other and if you say hello to them they seem to be shocked that someone is talking to them or just ignore you. And if you think it's just an issue with the welcome in the morning, I need to disappoint you: no one talks and I'm not exaggerating. The whole office is so quiet that you might get the impression that someone has died, and everyone seems to be so depressed. But actually, it’s not surprising that people are depressed in this company, since the company provides zero benefits, even though it makes millions every single year. And the shocking thing is the company doesn’t even pay sick pay, …hello, it’s the 21st century and the company is in Europe. The really sad thing is that people accept these bad working conditions. But it’s a culture of micromanagement, close monitoring, keeping people uninformed, lots of managers who have no clue about modern management. Furthermore, flexible working hours are not permitted for “cultural reasons”. To add insult to injury, one of Watchfinder’s directors (CIO) arrives in a different car almost every day, usually in his Ferrari, and roars his engine to make sure that everyone notices. To boast like this in front of all the employees is rather sickening; especially considering the company doesn’t offer any benefits (low salaries and only 20 days holiday). Please be aware that the positive reviews from March 2019 are just fake reviews, HR wanted us to say something positive about the company because Richemont wasn’t happy about Watchfinder’s poor glassdoor ratings.
