Upper management is incompetent in every sense of the word. They have no idea what it actually takes to run a practice. Practice managers and DPO's are not held accountable for their incompetency and unjust behavior. They are living, breathing examples of lies and deception. This organization prides themselves on trust and demands trust from its employees, but lacks the basic moral values that life requires to gain trust. The Human Resources department is useless and unresponsive. They do not support employees nor do they take the time to even respond to serious complaints from the people who keep their practices and hospitals running. They support the hierarchy before the truth, always. Regardless of evidence and facts. The pay rate is way below market value. Their practices are full of dedicated, talented, caring and hardworking employees and physicians who genuinely care about the well-being of patients. Wellstar absolutely does not care about the voice of the employee, the physician or the patient. They are nothing but a money hungry machine and a snake pit.

MOST TOXIC PLACE I HAVE EVER WORKED! There are a large number of us who have been here for many years trying to leave for a better place. Too busy spending money for awards and paying leaders more money and not taking the time to care for the ones who keep it running! Pay - Worth and reality are 2 separate things. We are all worth more than what pennies you offer. Benefits package is identical to the next organization, STOP using that as a reason to not offer livable wages. There is probably a large number of us who would give up some of the benefit package to get a higher pay. Favoritism - only those who know higher up can get advancement, opportunity doesn't mean give an interview only. Management a joke - Sitting in offices with doors closed all day, not answering emails or phones. But want to micromanage the unit..STOP! Reality is that your unit is dangerous to work in and you sitting at a meeting all day not giving a crap about your unit, means nothing a the end of the day. No one cares about you - if you leave today, they will have a warm body to fill your position tomorrow. You are just a number, no matter how long you have been there.
