Pros

It is better than being unemployed. Some coworkers were great.

Cons

The founder is a fraud. She convinces you to join her growing company, only to discover that it is anything but growing, it is actually imploding. There is no leadership, no idea of where it is going, and no real value in the company. The founder has one thing going for her - she can sell, even when there is nothing to really sell. Sadly all of the people who work for her, don't realize they have been sold. She claims to be all about women, but then lets her husband do all the decision making. It's weird and uninspiring. It's unfortunate because it sounded so good.

Pros

Great co-workers and great location

Cons

I 100% agree with the first review here. The founder is a manipulative liar. She acts out of self-interest and has zero direction for this "company". She does not care about her employees, you are easily disposable and just a number. She knows how to sell, that's pretty much the only thing going for her. She will promise you all these wonderful things working here and tell you how "lucky" you are to have a boss like her. She does not care about women either given that she mocks her own mission. The only reason why this company will sell is purely for the domain alone and she knows that. The only good that came out of working here was the people I met and the location. That is IT.

Somewhere to get experience

Pros

- You are thrown into very challenging work very quickly and can gain great experience in less than a year. - You have access to information such as Facebook Ads numbers and Google Analytics, which is great if you are interested in continuing in media. - CEO can teach you a lot. - The domain sounds impressive.

Cons

- HIGH turnover; completely new company YoY multiple years in a row. - CEO hires young, inexperienced workers who she can pay very little. You will learn a lot here, but there are not a lot of mentors for you to learn from. Nearly everyone is right out of college. - CEO tries to sell you on a dream... don't drink the kool-aid. Get in, get your experience, and move on.
