Company claims to care about staff and preaches to customers about HR whilst treating their own staff as just a number. Some middle managers have been there a long time and have some very old fashioned and questionable management. techniques which completely work against the new (positive sounding) senior management. Too much micro management of otherwise experienced or talented staf. Treated like children. Not a comfortable or enjoyable place to work. Some staff regularly driven to tears. An unpleasant and uncomfortable environment in which to work. It doesn't need to be like this and shouldn't be like this.

If you want a stable job with progression, this is not the place to work. Upper management, while accessible, never answer questions and keep the processes of decisions veiled in secrecy. They have an emphasis on mental health care within the business but it is next to never followed through on. They have company ideals that are also rarely followed up on. There are a lot of broken promises all over the place. There is a thick vein of cooperate culture that runs through the whole company that is cold and doesn't care about the humans at the business.
