Great perks but the CEO/Founder is abhorrent.

Cons

People don't show up to work and the vacation policy is a joke. The founder/CEO is one of the worst people I've ever met. He is sexist, myopic, and childish. Many times I witnessed him having an emotional breakdown in one of the conference rooms and misdirected his anger to employees. Scheduling meetings with him involved pulling teeth.

Pros

The people are awesome and you get great perks, like delicious food and cooking class credit.

Cons

Pay is below market for most positions, especially sales. Few career advancement opportunities. CEO would rather hire someone from outside than promote from within. To say that the CEO is a terrible manager would be an understatement. He alternates between micromanaging and talking to no one/doing nothing for long stretches of time. Product vision and improvements are nonexistent unless he gets worried about a competitor, in which case he'll hastily and poorly copy what they're doing. For all these reasons, morale is very low and turnover is extremely high.

Pros

Free lunches, coworkers are a lot of fun.

Cons

No leadership, often times unable to execute a plan successfully, no organization, little say in the overall direction of company, CEO is blind to suggestions, horribly low salary. Inflates the reviews on Glassdoor to have company appear better than it is in reality.
