It's symbolic how many VPs, C-suite members, and middle managers this small software company has. It seems like 1/2 of the company. Senior leadership is largely directionless and bumbling, imposing poor and uninformed top-down decisions on technical processes they don't understand or appreciate. There are no clear lines of responsibility for any role. This seems to drive out smart and high-performing staff, as seen by the constant churn in management. Leadership flops between vague and stroking in response to employee concerns to open hostility. It's rare they appear frank and open about anything.

Management has no idea what its like to be a normal person at this company. For such a small company, they are completely oblivious to what is going on in their own organization. I had to leave, and I know lots of other people bave left as well since I left. Certainly the worst experience I have had in my career.
