Senior Management other than VP of Sales do not know how to run a successful cosmetic company
Pros
benefits, employee discount, summer fridays
Cons
Pushing so hard to make a number, at all costs. Over filling the retailers to the point that they wont take any more product. Lack of proper field presence. It was like we threw product out there and hope it would stick, while our competitors ran circles around us. having to go through so many approval processes that we often times missed the boat on opportunities for advertising and promotions Departments that don't talk to each other. Marketing running the company rather than sales. It was so backwards. Sales should not have to beg to make things happen a CEO who was so involved in the details that no one could get anything done. She was in the details but didn't understand them. We were all constantly running in circles to make reports rather than focusing on the business. And last but not least, a company that eliminates their entire sales force claiming a new field based structure. Which isn't possible in this business. Wake up. The people you have in place now are all talk and no action. This company is going to go under, and under fast. People are not disposable. Where is the loyalty to the people who were loyal to you? Such a waste. Unfortunately butter LONDON is being laughed at by every other cosmetic company. The senior management drove it in to the ground. It is so sad.
