Pros

I have found that deVere respond positively to thinking outside the box when it comes to carrying out work. If I have a new idea, I have always been encouraged to try it out, which has led to my day to day work being varied and fulfilling. I very much think that the more effort you put in, the more you are rewarded, which is certainly not the case for many companies.

Cons

Be prepared to work hard if you want to do well.

Biggest cowboys of the financial services industry I have ever had the misfortune to come across. It's a boiler room. Proper 80s-style Wolf of Wall Street stuff but none of the employees see any benefits, they are worked like slaves and treated disgustingly, often left in financial trouble. How they are allowed to continue to be in existence is beyond me, luckily I was quick to see them for what they are I got the hell out of there. It's a pyramid scheme where employees are sold complete lies and clients are fleeced of all their wealth, purely for the benefit of those in senior positions. They have zero morals and if you don't believe me, search 'DeVere' in facebook and look at the group postings within it. That is the truth.

I've been with deVere almost 2 years and the opportunities are exponential. Its challenging but very rewarding. You get the chance to work in some of the best places in the world. Half your accommodation is paid for which is a massive help when you are starting up. If you are hard working and self motivated you will be noticed and you will be rewarded for it.

Cons

It can take a while to build up a client base so in some locations the basic can be difficult to relocate on but for most its more than enough. People can be negative about this role because you're not spoon fed. You get out of this job what you put in so if you want everything handed to you, expect amazing money for little work then thats why this job is not for you.
