Mars has been recognised as an industry leader in the Australian Financial Review’s Sustainability Leaders list for 2025 in the Manufacturing and Consumer Goods category. This is in recognition of our progress towards achieving net zero emissions by 2050 through projects like our Mars Wodonga Solar Thermal Plant, which when combined with other renewable energy activities at the site, will make our Wodonga facility Australia’s first large-scale, steam-based food manufacturing site to operate on 100% renewable energy solution by 2026.
