Recognition at the Diversity Impact Awards 2024 Conference 🌟 The Global ERG Network Diversity Impact Awards recognize exceptional Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Enterprise-Wide ERGs & Diversity Councils. They serve to elevate the importance of ERGs and their strategic contributions to business outcomes. Last week our team in London hosted the 2024 Latin Heritage Leadership Council's Careers Fair. STEM and Business/Accounting students from University of Greenwich were invited into our Canary Wharf office in London to learn more about our organization, the work we do, life at Northern Trust and how we’ll help students and graduates to learn today and lead tomorrow. The event was aimed at students in their second or third year and it was fantastic to see a full house on the day. Students met with professionals from different areas of our business and gained a better understanding of their given roles and how they impact our global organization. They also got to learn from our ‘Effective CV Writing’ and ‘LinkedIn Best Practices’ clinics. ✨Northern Trust Celebrates Diwali ✨ Over the past number of weeks, our offices across the globe came together to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights. The celebrations coordinated by our employee-led Asian Leadership Business Resource Councils brought color, vibrancy, joy, and togetherness to all who participated. Embodying the spirit of Diwali, teams in Chicago, London, and Limerick were greeted with office spaces transformed by vibrant Diya lights and decorative flowers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Behind the scenes at Northern Trust Luxembourg 🎥 Did you know the office recently celebrated their 20th anniversary? On the back of this anniversary, we are pleased to showcase our brand-new office space that we moved to in 2020. Last week, over 55 Northern Trust employees volunteered for the Royal British Legion’s annual London Poppy Day, which aims to raise awareness and crucial support for serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Supported by our employee-led EMEA Military Appreciation & Assistance Business Resource Council, volunteers enthusiastically engaged with members of the community at Stratford Station throughout the day – meeting people, hearing their stories, and extending appreciation for the Armed Forces community. We were pleased to recognize our British Military veterans for their service and volunteer alongside members of the Royal Navy HMS Tyne and HMS Collingwood. Members of our EMEA executive management team also showed their support on the day, providing smiles, encouragement, and much-needed coffees – all which helped the team exceed an ambitious target, and ensure a wonderful day was had by all. An incredible achievement and fantastic way for our team in London to close out their month of volunteering, Achieving Greater Together. #NTGivesBack
