The Greensboro region excels at recognizing and rewarding its team members. When individuals go above and beyond, they receive appreciation cards that can be redeemed for Sunstates swag. Here are four individuals who were recently celebrated for their remarkable contributions. Officer Mildred Black was recognized for her two years of professionalism and commitment, earning multiple appreciation cards for her exceptional performance. Officer Aubrey Frazier was commended for her outstanding performance, including volunteering for open shifts and completing new site training ahead of schedule. Shift Lead Michael Hill, a two-year veteran, redeemed several appreciation cards for a Sunstates lunchbox, acknowledging his exceptional service and sound decision-making. Finally, Officer Scott Anderson earned well-deserved cards for his quick reaction and defensive driving, which allowed him to avoid a serious collision. This team's dedication and vigilance are truly commendable.
For the third consecutive year, we are proud to participate in the Triangle Heart Walk, an event that benefits the American Heart Association. As a company, we've made a significant donation, and our team members are actively fundraising to further support this vital cause. Our CEO, Denis Kelly, is once again a member of the Executives with Heart, a group that showcases his support by networking and engaging with other leaders and companies to get them involved. Sunstates Security has a direct understanding of the impact of CPR certification. Over half of our team is CPR certified, and annually, we have officers who perform CPR and save lives. According to the AHA, over 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of a hospital each year, and immediate CPR can double or triple a person's chance of survival. Visit our team page to donate and support this great cause! Every dollar helps save lives and builds a healthier community for everyone.

We know ongoing training is essential in our industry, so we strive to find engaging ways for team members to complete courses. Introducing quarterly training contests has proven a successful method to encourage participation in newly created programs. Our last campaign featured On-Site Media Training, which equipped our security professionals with best practices for engaging media representatives. This course emphasizes maintaining professionalism, upholding organizational policies, and safeguarding the interests of both the client and Sunstates during public interactions. Five individuals who completed the course were randomly selected as winners, receiving prizes such as an Echo Dot, a Blink Doorbell, and more! Three of our lucky winners are photographed: Congratulations to Officers Carlos Perez Ruiz of the San Fransico region, photographed with Regional Manager Jeffery Keaty, Freddie Chalmers of the Nashville region, and John Goldsborough of the Greensboro region, photographed with Site Supervisor Miguel Ferran and Account Manager Wallie Pinkney. Thank you for completing the On-Site Media Training! Your dedication to mastering these critical skills is truly commendable. #Training #EmployeeEngagement #Security #SecurityTeam #SecurityServices #SecurityCompany #SecurityPersonnel #NashvilleBusiness #GreensboroNC #SanFransicoBusiness #Congratulations
