Advancing gender equality takes more than intent; it requires consistent action, clear policies, and shared accountability. As signatories of the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEP) since 2010, our over 15-year commitment continues to shape how we build gender-responsive workplace—through pay parity, safe and inclusive environments, continuous learning, and structures that support work–life integration. We’re also driving impact beyond our organization by promoting supplier diversity and women’s entrepreneurship as key levers for inclusive growth across value chains. Recently, in an interaction with the European Parliament’s Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM), we joined global peers to reflect on how the private sector can expand women’s access to formal and decent employment. Conversations like these reaffirm the collective power of businesses to advance global gender equality and the tangible impact that consistent action can create.
Our latest Wipro × HFS Research paper on Wipro Intelligence™ makes the modern-day modernization challenge clear: AI doesn't stall because organizations lack ambition – it stalls because foundations can't carry the weight. Most enterprises still operate on fragmented data, inconsistent workflows, and legacy processes that slow every step of change. Instead of layering AI on outdated models, the paper urges leaders to strengthen the core and redesign workflows for autonomy. Wipro Intelligence™ enables this shift by standardizing patterns and embedding governance as software, creating an environment where AI can scale reliably. Ready to adopt the change? Honored to have hosted the UK Minister for AI and Online Safety, Kanishka Narayan MP, and the British Deputy High Commissioner to India, Chandru Iyer, along with a distinguished delegation from the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, at our Kodathi campus in Bengaluru. Discussions with Executive Chairman Rishad Premji, COO Sanjeev Jain, and Managing Director for UK & Ireland Sarat Chand focused on the UK’s AI vision and how deeper global partnerships can accelerate responsible, enterprise-scale AI adoption. The dialogue reinforced a shared view: as governments and enterprises accelerate their AI journeys, progress will not be defined by speed alone – but by trust, accountability, and human-centricity. Sustained impact requires collaboration across government, industry, and society, grounded in delivering proof over promise. This dialogue continues at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi (Booth 2.5, Hall 2, Bharat Mandapam), where Wipro is engaging policymakers, government bodies, and technology partners through Wipro Intelligence™ to build AI that works responsibly, and at scale.
