Does EY offer a wellness program?

Pros

Pension, 401K match is amazing, 3 weeks vacation starting off, 3 personal days, 2 weeks personal/sick time, health/dental/vision, wellness reimbursement, opportunity to learn is endless if you are interested, several additional surprise holidays given the past few years, adoption expense reimbursement, wage works discount parking and public mass transportation discounts, after you prove yourself you are given more opportunities to lead, coworkers and team members are amazing/ loved our shared services teams!

Cons

Insane hours, compensation not equitable, restructuring contributed to a lack of opportunities for advancement, It’s easy to be forgotten when it’s time for promotions, you have to be exceptional AND fight for yourself openly in order to be promoted in 2-3 years. Must have a CPA to be a Partner or Sr. Mgr but the firm offers no educational reimbursement if you’re missing credits to take the test, Must be a Senior or above to get 4 weeks vacation or performance based bonus....if you directly and positively impact margin it does not matter, PBB is only for Sr. level and above. No negotiations allowed. Often required to work while on holiday, do not get sick...must still work (from home) even if sick (if you have a job where others rely heavily upon you) so fingers crossed you are never deathly ill, must learn to live on less sleep seven months of the year

Advice to Management

Promote your good employees or you will lose them quickly. If you keep an employee longer than two years and they have good performance metrics, promote them and compensate them
