      Entry Level Electrical Engineer Interview

      30 Sept 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AECOM (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2016

      Interview

A university recruiter called me 4-5 days after I applied online and asked to setup a phone interview. The interview probably lasted 5 minutes because he only had to get some basic information from me - 1. When can you start if you were offered the job? 2. Are you willing to relocate? 3. Do you possess or will you obtain an EIT certificate in the near future? 4. Have you worked for any government projects in the past year? 5. What is your desired salary? 6. Will be able to come to the onsite interview in 2 weeks? I sent a follow-up email after having no response for 3 weeks and I was told that the hiring team had reevaluated their requirements and decided not to hire (I don't think it was that they found another candidate because I looked up my job submission status online and it said the position was cancelled).
