I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (London, England) in Aug 2020
Interview
Not hard, average. Was a bit misleading as there were so many steps and once you are in the Store Experience, they can reject you. The online interview, in person interview was good. Easy. Asked usually questions competency based but the store experience was tough. It was different as because of Covid we weren't allowed to do anything. In the end, there is a memory question and safety questions where you describe what is wrong with the pictures. That bit was annoying.
Application online , video interview questions, in store interview, manager was cold and kept describing the job as hard that was available , got a no response next day , as manager described people staying only 4 weeks due to work to hard , you think he takes on older mature person, his loss for reliability staff
Was an online interview they asked why I want to work for aldi why do I think I’d be a good fit and what’s a time you delivered excellent customer service

Question 1
What’s a time you delivered excellent customer service
Pleasant and honest. Interview was held a hotel conference space in an open day format. Prospective workers were called in batches in a sort of ‘speed dating’ format. Interviewers were actual assistant store managers and as such were able to provide relevant insight into the role.
