I applied and progressed through video submission, phone call with HR, and finally the video interview stage for the role. Following the video interview, I was informed to expect an invitation to ALDI Head Office for an in-person competency test, specializing in SQL and Power BI. I was recommended to brush my knowledge, thus I prioritized preparation. It has been two weeks without any update about the process, including no reply to my follow-up email either. Plus, there is no ‘Application Status’ on the career portal, so you can't get an insight about what is happening on their end. You can't call them back from the same phone number either, as it goes to voice mail, that is full!
I have since seen the role re-advertised and promoted on Reed. This leads me to believe that the recruitment process has moved on. However, I have not received any notification or reply. This ghosting and lack of communication is disappointing and has left me with a poor impression of ALDI’s hiring process.
