I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Altimetrik (Chennai) in June 2014
Interview
The first round was an telephonic round in which i was lucky enough to have a genuine professional to take up and the interview was really good enough to test the basis, conceptual level understanding and problem solving skills. But the the second round in face to face was a nightmare in total. I went to Altimetrik office and i was greeted by a HR coordinator and then I met a technical person who was supposed to take up the second level interview. I haven't heard or experience an technical interview in which you have an HR person along with technical panel for discussion. Moreover I can sense the interviewer wanted to show off to the HR rather than just focusing on the actual intention of the interview. I refrained myself from answering any of the questions and i waited for the chance to move out of the place. After few minutes I didn't even wait for any of the feedback and moved my way out to restore my confidence and integrity. Its not simple allegations to venture my own frustration rather its an true incident which i can prove at any pint of time.

Question 1
Interview is not the right place for someone to show their skills to your HR. Grow up and be professional when you conduct interview. It makes sense to understand the CMM level 5 where the process makes real sense and small companies need to focus on small issues like this to grow.

Worst interview experience. They asked me "Are you from Tamilnadu?", I said no, he was like you look like tamilian , then he asked do you speak tamil? Really?? Is it the way to start any interview.. They don't deserve to be in Bengaluru or in IT industry? Please Folks never ever go for an interview.. its just waste of time.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Altimetrik (Bengaluru) in Oct 2014
Interview
There are three technical rounds.
First is a written round. The questions were very basic - questions about classes/OO, data structures like trees/queues/stacks etc.
Once the written round is done you are given a computer and given a program to solve. The program itself is trivial to implement. You are essentially given any amount of time that you need so take care to write clean efficient well documented code. Once you are done you are expected to run the program with different inputs to ensure that it works well.
Third round of technical interview is coding on a computer as well. Compared to second round, this one is a little more involved. This round essentially evaluates how well you design your code. So take care to break down the logic into appropriate classes etc
