I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Edinburgh, Scotland)
Interview
The interview is pretty simple, you have a video call, and they just try to make sure you meet the minimum requirements on the job ad, like being able to be on your feet the whole day, lifting heavy parcels, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me if I was able to work a full shift standing up, and asked if I was able to lift up to 12-15 kilos by myself.
I was hired in 2018 there was no interview just a series of short tests online and then went in person for a drug test and onboarding. No interview. The drug test was a mouth swab but half the groups got urine tested
They asked about my availability, whether I was able to lift weights up to the required limit, and if I was comfortable with the work location. Can you do it safely.
For this position, there was no interview required. The application process was very simple and only required to fill a series of questions relevant to the employer, was hired on the spot.
