I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Apr 2013
Interview
Interview was for the role of test engineer.
First round was program round - where we were supposed to write programs for few problems, using any of programming language. 2-3 questions were related to creating test cases and test data.
I cleared this round.
Second round was with Project Manager - who asked QA related questions based on their kindle applications, which was answered.
He asked some more code based questions, though I mentioned I am looking for a manual testing role as mentioned to HR.
Second round was not cleared.
Thing which I didnt like is when I was answering the question, this person was busy chatting on phone, on laptop and laughing to himself. Very odd.
He asked me to explain my current profile, but he didnt bother listen when I spoke and was busy in chatting
