I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Apr 2017
Interview
The interview process is a great experience. Gave a memory refresher of Defense Services SSB process. While the initial screen would be over phone by Recruiter to scan through fitment to role, interest level in organisation and joining availability of the candidate, the real evaluation is based on Amazon's 14 Leadership Principals which are the pillars on what everything in Amazon works. Its generally a 1 full day affair with 4-5 individual rounds with different interviewers followed by a Bar Raiser interview which focuses on Raising the Bar Principle. Overall a great framework for selection of leaders.

Question 1
How do I measure my success for my own contribution in a team leader role?
The process took a very long time and after 4 rounds of interviwes I got only an auto rejection email. The company check only the Leadership principles, and it looks like they don't have an interest in smth else. Anyway people were nice, the case study was interesting as well.

Did a test task and was called by HR almost immediately for the next round. But salary range (full packet with stock and benefits) and return to office policy did nit much my expectations
very standard. the interviewers had a set of questions to ask about the LPs so we can anticipate beforehand. But I think I got ghosted in the end. One of the interviewers told me about the 2 & 5 rule but its been more than 2 weeks since my last interview and still no response from anyone so idk what happened.
