I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Amazon (Islington, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
Without doubt the worst recruitment process I have ever experienced. The internal recruiter ignored my attempts to ask about the compensation package over a two month period. Only two days before the final interview I finally managed to squeeze out some vague details which she grudgingly gave. Despite having my salary expectations on record she finally disclosed that the salary was less than half of what I was previously on and there was no commission scheme for this sales role. No apologies were issued for the two months of time wasted and her manner was incredibly rude and purposely unhelpful.
The whole Interview process was incredibly disorganised and time consuming and I would never recommend anyone applying if this is a representation of what it’s like to work at Amazon.

Great management, it was a walk in drive and the HR team was able to manage everything well. Enjoyed the process.
All the best to everyone going for the interview.

1 Phone screen, 4 loops of behavioral interviews. A bar raiser is involved in one of the 4 loops. They respond back in the same week regarding the next steps / feedback
