      Principal Product Manager Interview

      1 Apr 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2021

      Interview

The interview looked like a courtroom trial, where they are trying to prove you guilty & you would have to prove yourself innocent! Such a royal wastage of time & energy! Crappy & exhaustive storytelling questions. Looks very artificial, scripted & overwhelming! Too many useless & meaningless follow-up questions. They come with prepared questions from their question bank & try to fire as many leadership principle questions at you as possible. Some senior level interviewers are not professional & courteous enough to even leave time at the end for questions from your side! I wouldn’t interview at this company again! No wonder they have so many complaints about the working conditions! I really hope the Alabama warehouse workers get their way in forming an union. People here are moulded in a certain way. Even in an interview, you can clearly see the human touch is missing in the company. They are all about $$$. But every good thing must come to end and all shiny things lose their shine one day. So, hopefully these crooks will learn their lesson one day in the hard way. Lot of people are earning a truckload of money here at the expense of a lot of overworked, burned out frontline workers. It’ll all come back to haunt one day. Stay away from this unethical company if possible!
