I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2019
Interview
The entire process starts with an email communication followed by a phone interview with a recruiter. The recruiter can say yes or no to you kn the spot if they feel you don’t fit with the particular role they are looking for. In my case, this is what happened and she decided that I might be more suited for another role. She is very organized, detailed and process oriented. Their entire HR and recruiting team walked me through the entire process and even provided pointers. It’s definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had applying for a job. I could tell that they really wanted me to succeed. They provided all the Amazon videos and documents I needed to review and sent me links to YouTube videos on how to prepare for the interview. Once you’ve gone through the initial phase, the next step is a phone interview with the hiring manager. This will be somewhat technical but mainly focuses on your skills and how you fit with the team.

Interview
Although I didn't pass the interview, I had a positive overall experience. The interview process was well organized, and the instructions were clear and informative. I appreciated the transparency throughout the process, which helped me prepare effectively for the interview.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2026
Interview
You do 4 back to back interview in 1 day. It was exhausting. Besides that really appreciated the recruiter giving out interview prep before it takes place. The good thing is there is no coding round.
