I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Pittsburgh, PA) in Nov 2014
Interview
Everyone I spoke with was personable and friendly. I think they embodied Amazons values and beliefs. The urgency to get my 5 phone interviews done with was a speedy process - on Amazon's terms. I had two 45 minute phone interviews in one day yet my personal feedback was only addressed days later when I initiated the conversation. The same general questions were repeated over and over by each of the 5 representatives I spoke to, which made me wonder if they were looking for consistency or variety. I was disappointed with the lack of communication at the end of the process when I was flexible with their requests.

Question 1
If you had a magic wand to change something about a company you worked for?
Fairly simple. Two individual interviews with two people. They are a little misleading about shifts & schedules. Because the warehouses operate 24/7, the HR team is expected to also work 24/7. The shifts will be divided into days/hours so there is always someone able to help the associates.
I had three back to back interviews with three different interviewers a day and one interview took up to 30-40 minutes. It was a university hire process and I got heard back within 5 days.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Reached out by recruiter via linkedin and conducting a virtual 3 hour interview session with 3 different HR leaders. Standard and generic questions regarding previous experience and questions were asked utilizing the STAR method.
