phone Screening - HR, Recruiter
1v1 interview - this is an interview with a person who signed up to interview. They can deny or pass you forward. It’s all opinion based and unfortunately there’s in structured requirement just the interviewer’s opinion of you
4 hour interview- lastly this is a 4-hour interview with 2 potentially co-workers, a bar raiser and team lead, manager or director. Once again there is no structure to this interview you can answer with the STAR method and have great examples following there leadership principles but it’s honestly all the opinion of who’s interviewing you. I feel really bad for minority candidates interviewing for these sales jobs.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Arlington, VA) in Feb 2021
Interview
Very interesting and thorough process, with several 'loop interviews' to gain insight in who you really are as a person. They really care about getting to know you and seeing if you really buy into Amazon leadership principles.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublin, Dublin) in June 2019
Interview

First round a phone screen with a member of the team, asked questions around CV, motivations to join AWS and some questions on understanding of the Cloud. Second round, 4x 1 hour interviews around STAR format questions assessing LP's. Got the offer less than a week after
