I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
There is a lot of passing from one recruiter to another before you speak with someone knowledgeable about the position.
The worst is the "day of interviews" where you will do 6 back to back 45 min interview. Its like speed dating but not very speedy. The question are utterly inane and all have to be answered in the "STAR" format.
It is an impossible format because not every event in your career translates into "10% increase in Sales" just because you were asked to describe a situation where you helped a colleague.
The company is a cult with no actual interest in customer experience, they just want to design strategies to milk the most money out of customers. Don't recommend at all.

I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Berlin) in July 2017
Interview
The lady with whom I spoke was listening as if she was understanding and rewarding what I explained to her. However in the end it turned out to be just the procedure.
