I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in May 2015
Interview
I had one of the worst experiences at Amazon among all the job interviews i have given so far. I was called for a f2f interview and after 6 technical rounds, they rejected me. I regretted not getting a offer. But after few days, i got a call from HR team again for the same positions. They asked me to interview again, citing it was for a different team. I was foolish to pursue this. I gave 7 technical interviews. This time, HR confirmed me that they would like to extend me the offer. I was happy. Many days passed but i did not receive any communication from them. Finally, after asking persistently, they said they are not extending this offer. And declined to give a reason why so. Pathetic experience ever !!
It started with an OA, and then after a few weeks, I got invited to four rounds of interviews: technical and behavioral at 3 of the 4, and behavioral only at one.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (São Paulo, São Paulo) in June 2026
Interview
Empresa extremamente clara sobre o que é pedido na entrevista e isso me mostra a seriedade. Minha experiencia foi positiva e tente se atentar a resolver o problema e não somente decorar padrões do leetcode.

Online Assessment is the first step in the process. I didn’t have an HR phone screening and went straight to the OA after applying. It was sent to me about a week after I submitted my application.

Question 1
The first question is LeetCode style algorithms question, and the second question gives a full stack repo (choice of Java, NodeJS, or Django) and asks to solve a backend issue which is causing a bug in the frontend. Unit tests must pass to pass the second question. You can run both backend/frontend indivdually or together
