The interview process started with a couple of phone screens. There was a gap of about a week and a half between the first and the second phone screen. And then after some follow-up (as I had another offer), and 3 weeks later, the onsite interviews werr scheduled. I went through 7 rounds of onsite interviews on the same day, with interviewers varying from Architects, Dev Managers, Test Managers, Bar Raiser, Hiring Manager, HR to a VP level. Overall, the experience of the day was pleasant. In about 2 days from then, I was called by the HR for the negotiation on salary and notice period, and then I got a follow-up call the next day from the VP to reconfirm the offer. There wasn't much haggling on any of those, as then I wasn't too good with salary negotiations. However, after joining, I realized that Amazon is one company where one should negotiate as much as one can, not only at the time of interviews, but also when you are inside the company. That was one thing that I didn't like about Amazon.
