      Account Executive Interview

      7 Apr 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2025

      Interview

The interview process took me about three weeks from initial conversation with recruiter to offer. You will need to prepare if you want to make a good impression. Familiarize yourself with the Amazon Leadership Principles and STAR formatted responses. I went through an initial call with the recruiter, then a phone screening with an individual who was part of the team I interviewed for, then had 5 virtual interviews over a 2 day period. Each person conducting the interview had a few leadership principles they asked questions on. I spend a few hours a day prepping for about a week and I felt confident with the interviews. I had about 20 scenarios from my past work experience that could be aligned to the principles. Use the internet to learn about the process, you will understand it more, be prepared and either have more respect for the process or realize maybe it's not for you. I personally feel like I had to earn the offer and appreciate the checks and balances they have in place to ensure the right candidate is hired.
