I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Express (New York, NY) in June 2014
Interview
2 phone interviews with recruiters (Allegis Global) then face-to-face with the hiring manager. The questions are what you would expect: reasons for leaving current job, skills, expectations. The hiring manager was friendly and explained the team and job responsibilities in details. However, after the interview, I have not heard back from either the recruiter or hiring manager for over 4 weeks, not even after follow-up emails; should at least inform candidate of the rejection for the sake of professionalism
I applied through other source. I interviewed at American Express (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Dec 2024
Interview
had a really positive interview experience with American Express for the Business Development Associate role. The interviewers were professional, engaging, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The questions were thoughtful and gave me a chance to truly express my strengths and passion for the role. It felt more like a conversation than an interrogation, which I really appreciated.
there are total 3 rounds of the interview
first ground- phone interview with HR
second round and third round, there are the zoom interview with the line manager and director
I interviewed at American Express (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Panel interview. Mock roleplays and questions about previous employment. The panel interview felt like a speed dating scene from a movie. Lot's of questions about previous experience which is the norm
