I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Atlassian (New York, NY)
Interview
First hiring interview went well. Second SQL interview (live coding in hacker rank) was tough on the spot. You will be monitored. No use of Chat GPT. Know your SQL well.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian in Mar 2024
Interview
I was referred by an employee at Atlassian for this role. The recruiter reached out to me to discuss this role, we set up some time to talk on the phone and he seemed incredibly excited about moving forward. Our call was on Monday, and at the end he asked me to send over my availabilities for Thursday and Friday for that same week to speak to the hiring manager. I immediately sent over my availabilities the same day, and received no response back. I proceeded to bump the email TWO more times over the span of a week - still no response. I finally get an email back asking me to send my availabilities for the next week. I do so, and no response. I bumped my email 3 more times after that over a week and still have never received a response. I'm so incredibly disappointed in how unprofessional this process has been. I cannot recommend Atlassian's hiring team as one that respects your time, unfortunately.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Sydney) in Sept 2020
