I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Atlassian (Sydney) in May 2018
Interview
I am based in India, a recruiter from Atlassian reached out to me on linkedin.com and wanted to talk to me. She spoke about opportunities in Atlassian and enquired if I was interested in considering opportunities for their head quarters in Sydney. I conveyed to her that I might be, she set up interviews at my convenience.
I had two interviews, which were quite easy. The interviewers conveyed that their expectations from the position were petty. When I enquired they mentioned to me that they are looking at the role of Senior Engineer role, which was a junior position for some one of my experience(18 years). When I expressed my surprise at the levelling, I found them inflexible, and had to pull out of their interview loop.
What was shocking was people with less experience and accomplishments had been offered higher positions. I thought Atlassian was trying to low-ball me, by using the relocation carrot. Overall, it was a waste of my time, and my experience was similar to other recent experiences with Atlassian. Given how hard companies are trying to fight for right talent, found their candidate experience management mediocre

Interview
Just plain terrible, they reached out to me on linkedin, they said my profile matched. After doing 5hrs interview with 5 different people they didn't even bother to get back to me to say they weren't moving forward. STAY AWAY
