I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Atlassian (New York, NY) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview process was no different than any other I’ve been a part of. Intro, technical , and final. The one thing that did stand out was something they call the values interview where someone from a completely different department than you are applying to interviews you about the values of the company.

technical interview was straight forward and didn’t consist of the interviewer asking questions outside the scope of the job.

Interview
Long interview process with many questions repeated, no idea of salary until the process is finished. Standard FAANG interview process.
People seemed nice, teams seemed good.
Annoyingly they talk about giving you public holidays like it was a benefit.

Coding test included even for Systems Engineer position
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Atlassian (San Francisco, CA) in May 2014
Interview
I had three rounds of phone interviewing - one preliminary, then two technical interviews - followed by a videoconferenced interview with a teammate in SF, a videoconferenced sysadmin lab with several teammates in SF and London, and a videoconferenced interview with the boss's boss in Sydney. After the last VC interview, they flew me out to San Francisco; I expected that to be the final interview, but once I arrived they told me that the visit was more for my benefit than to review my qualifications.
The process took a bit longer than I'd expected, thanks to some behind-the-scenes changes in the team's structure, but it was pleasant enough overall that I was eager to accept the offer.
