Interview
The phone screen with the recruiter was great. He asked about what I was looking for in a new role and discussed how there are other roles I would be a fit for if I didn't move forward for the role I applied to after meeting the Hiring Manager. The Hiring Manager interview was supposed to be scheduled but there were conflicts being the holidays were around. The Recruiter stated he would get back to me. He had gotten back to me to let me know he will update me a week later. After a week and a half went by I decided to reach out but did not get an answer. I then reached out the week after that and the same. If I was not a fit for the role communicating it would have helped. Going dark on an applicant just isn't right especially when you're told you are a fit for other roles as well.

Interview
1. Initial phone screen with the Atlassian recruiter.
2. Zoom meeting with the hiring manager
3. Meeting with a member of the team for a "values interview"
4. Panel interview with various members of the SE team to demo an Atlassian product.
5. Offer
At the very beginning of the interview process I set a clear expectation for what I was expecting with total compensation and Atlassian agreed. When I received the offer, it was considerably lower than my expectation. The offer was not close to being market competitive.
