Atlassian HR Called me for the interview, she was very nice and quite supportive Interview Expereince Karat round 20-25 minutes of 5 system design questions 1 coding question of easy level Even though round is easy level, Expectation in explaning was quite high in sys design round and solving coding question was quite challenging in less time. I had to take a redo of to get through , 1st round of karat was a rject . Round 1 - Coding Interviewer asked me design and code a snake game, i asked to get the correct boundary conditions. I have coded and struggled in one part of the coding on how to end the game. He had a follow up question in mind . What i observed is they dont care about much explanations if you solve the problem and test cases are working fine. Round 2 - Coding Interviewer gave a very vaugue explanation of the question, i had to ask questions to get the clarity. she seems not interesting in listening to my exaplanation. it was voting based question on a candidates. two dim sorting problems.Interviewer was very vague. Once i solved it , she gave a follow up question which i gave soluition. she wanted a optimised solutions. which i gave. Verdit - Dont put too much energy on explaning to them, just he questions right and execute test cases. Solve the follow up question to be on safer side . Good HR. Bas interviewers
