Atlassian Senior Manager Strategy and Operations interview questions

Online application was followed up 2 weeks later with an email to schedule a call with their recruitment team. On the morning of the interview it was cancelled as they had already filled the role. I asked about another similar role that was also advertised and they said that was also now full. But then why were both still open for applications online. Don't waist our time as we make an effort for each application. You don't value the applicant's time and it shows a sense of arrogance as you are an attractive place to work so you don't need to consider the applicants.
